Frontdesk provides an AI chat widget ("your AI receptionist") that you install on your own website to answer visitor questions and capture leads. You configure what it knows about your business; we host and run it.
The AI answers based only on the information you provide. It's explicitly instructed to never give medical, legal, or financial advice, and to redirect anything urgent or sensitive to a phone call instead of answering. It can make mistakes - review its answers periodically and correct your configured information if something's wrong.
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If our AI provider is temporarily unavailable, the widget automatically falls back to simple keyword-matched answers rather than going fully offline.
Frontdesk is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost business from a missed or incorrect answer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (e.g. for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. We may suspend or end an account that misuses the service (e.g. attempting to abuse the AI backend, or entering unlawful content into a client configuration).
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
